Don' Be Hatin' On No Beyonce
DID BEYONCE STEAL THIS?
You've heard the story. Beyonce bought a pair of Heavy Metal Leggings designed by Iceland's very own Asgrimur Mar Fridriksson. And then a very similar design showed up in Beyonce's fashion line Dereon. (Dereon is the trashy one. Her classy line is called House of Dereon.)
They are similar.
But there's a fine line between plagiarism and inspiration. And when I look at Fridriksson's sassy design, I can't help but think she was inspired by Viking chainmail, Judas Priest, and/or Ms. PacMan.

But why only focus on the leggings? Isn't it obvious she stole the entire concept for her HEAT perfume from the 2010 eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. Look at the bottle. It's totally a volcano. And the whole concept of heat. Is she trying to get a copyright on that too? |
