Yoko Ono Eclipses The Elements
As good as the view from Iceland?
She came in peace.
But as we survey the wreakage, we can see Yoko Ono's Trojan Horse for what it really is: sinister, seductive, alien.
It is no coincidence that since the planning and completion of John Lennon's memorial, Iceland has been brought to her knees. A financial meltdown. A volcanic eruption. And last night, a lunar eclipse that could only be viewed from North America, Greenland, and Iceland. Let's not even mention this took place on the Winter Solstice. Or that the memorial marks the 30th anniversary of Lennon's death. That could put numerologists into a tailspin. And I want to keep this grounded in fact.

The reason Ono chose Iceland as the site for her alien portal, other than its ideal coordinates [latitude 64°10'N, longitude 21°57'W] is that, as the incarnation of the goddess Skaði, Yoko feels a connection with the northern people.
Fortunately, there is a watchdog group called Stjornuskodunarfelag Seltjarnarness.
They claim to be an amateur astronomical society. But I prefer to think of them as Iceland's men in black. Their JMI NGT-18 telescope (the biggest in Iceland), captured images of the eclipse from a rooftop at Valhusaskoli, the elementary school that houses the group (and also serves as an ingenious cover for their operation, so keep it on the hush.)
It will be up to groups like this, and even concerned citizens working on their own, to monitor the Peace Tower, and to report any strange happenings to the proper authorities. The survival of Iceland (and perhaps the planet) depends on it.
